Why Transparency Matters
ExtraGive is committed to upholding best practices for nonprofit organizations, and transparency is a fundraising best practice that benefits donors. As such, organizations that apply to be part of the ExtraGive must meet the following criteria to participate in the event.
- Be registered as a 501c3 with the Bureau of Charitable Organizations
- Serve residents of Lancaster County
- Provide an audit or independent financial review
- Provide a nondiscrimination policy as is consistent with their legal requirements
