This isn't a fiction; it's a heartbreaking reality I have witnessed for nearly three decades that I have dedicated my career to providing safe, affordable housing.  

The housing affordability crisis and lack of supply dominate kitchen table conversations, city hall, and community convening across the county.  It falls on each of us in Lancaster County, as neighbors and friends, to remove the barriers, increase access, and cultivate the conditions necessary for a robust supply of affordable homes.

We are a trusted, affordable housing provider that delivers results. HDC currently serves 1,335 households in 25 communities right here in Lancaster County. And we are not slowing down: we are actively working on Phases 2 and 3 of The Apartments at College Avenue, bringing another 100+ affordable apartments online to make the dream of home an attainable reality.
