Empowering Teachers, Inspiring Students

As a proud Hempfield resident and school counselor, I’m excited to support the Hempfield Foundation—an organization that makes a real difference for both our students and teachers.

My oldest son, Brady, graduated from HHS last year and is now studying Building Automation Engineering at Pennsylvania College of Technology. My youngest son, Chase, is currently a sophomore at HHS, so I’m deeply connected to this district as both a parent and an educator. (And yes, we are due for an updated family picture as both boys tower over me now). 

This is my 17th year working as a school counselor at the high school, and this year I have the privilege of working with all seniors. In honor of the Class of 2026, my goal is to obtain 26 donors—one for each year of their upcoming graduation!

Serving on the Hempfield Foundation Board has been some of the most fulfilling and meaningful work I’ve ever been a part of. I love seeing teachers receive grants that allow them to bring innovative ideas to life—projects that go beyond what the budget allows and truly enrich our students’ learning experiences. I’ve also witnessed firsthand how scholarship support from the Foundation eases the financial burden for students pursuing post-secondary education.
