SOLID ROCK YOUTH MINISTRIES

Solid Rock is a youth center in Quarryville serving students and families in the Solanco area. All of our programs and events are designed with the goal of pointing others to the joy and hope found in Jesus Christ. We offer school year & summer programs, homeschool classes, and families events.

We accomplish our mission weekly through our school year programs which serve students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. 
During these programs, students interact with caring volunteers, hang out with their friends, have fun, and hear the Gospel.  For
some of these students it’s the first time they have ever heard the Gospel; for others we can walk alongside them as they deepen
their relationship with Jesus.  Our reach does not stop at the students-it also impacts the families as a whole.  All of our programs are free!
Outside of our weekly programs, we have homeschool programs during the day, family event nights, family workshops for parents and
summer programs. God is doing great things through the relationships we have with students & families at Solid Rock! 

Christ is our Peace
Here at Solid Rock, our theme for the year is Shalom: Christ is our Peace. 
Shalom is wholeness because of Christ in our relationship with God, ourselves, others, and creation. It is only through a saving relationship with Jesus that we are able to have peace with God. And that peace with God brings peace to all other areas of our lives too. But this is not a peace we are meant to keep to ourselves. We are shalom-makers, called to bring God’s peace into every sphere of influence that God gives us. At Solid Rock, we want to share that peace with students and families in Solanco. Using Ephesians 2:12-22 as our guide, we will focus our program lessons this year on how God created every relationship to be whole. Yet because of sin, every relationship has become broken. But because of Christ - our relationships can and will be good again! 

Christ is our Peace. 
In our relationship with creation.
In our relationships with others.
In our relationship to ourselves.
And in our relationship with God.
Christ is our peace.
