Elizabethtown Community Housing & Outreach Services

Elizabethtown Community Housing & Outreach Services (ECHOS) is dedicated to empowering our neighbors experiencing housing instability and financial hardship by connecting them with essential resources, fostering community collaboration, and offering individualized support. Our mission is to create long-term stability and hope for families and individuals across the Northwest Region of Lancaster County, including Elizabethtown, Bainbridge, Rheems, Mount Joy, Maytown, and Marietta.

Since our founding in 2016, ECHOS has served over 3,500 families through impactful programs such as:

• The Elizabethtown Emergency Shelter – offering safe, temporary housing to those in urgent need.
• Eviction Prevention & Homelessness Diversion – helping households avoid homelessness through critical intervention services.
• Housing Stability Programs – supporting veterans and older adults with transitional housing that promotes long-term security.
• The ECHOS Enrichment Center – providing job readiness, workforce development, information, and referrals to ensure individuals and families are on the path to self-sufficiency.
