The Penn Manor School District Aevidum Clubs are dedicated to fostering mental wellness and creating a supportive environment for students. Established in 2013 at Penn Manor High School and later expanded to Marticville Middle School in 2016 and Manor Middle School in 2024, these clubs have grown to include over 120 members. Their mission is to promote the message of "I've got your back," encouraging open conversations about mental health and providing peer support to prevent suicide.
Through activities such as workshops, team-building exercises, and awareness campaigns, the Aevidum Clubs aim to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues. For instance, in January 2023, Penn Manor High School hosted "The Talk," a workshop that brought together students from multiple schools to discuss mental health and suicide prevention, emphasizing the importance of acceptance, appreciation, acknowledgment, and caring.
By participating in ExtraGive 2025, you can contribute to the Aevidum Clubs' efforts to expand their reach and impact. Your donation will support their initiatives, including organizing workshops, creating awareness materials, and providing resources for students in need. Together, we can help create a community where every student feels supported and valued.
