Wow! The Edible Classroom does amazing work creating hands on gardening and cooking experiences in local school districts. Their reach has grown and grown over the past eight years since their germination, currently serving several school districts and early childhood centers! So far in 2025, 14,073 students have participated in 1,384 garden lessons, producing 3,320 pounds of fresh food enjoyed during classes, at home, and in the community. The students have invaluable exposure and experience learning, growing and tending their gardens and furthermore preparing and enjoying the fruits of their labor. It is amazing to see students come alive and engaged in these beautiful community building and engaging learning spaces. Thank you for your support!
