Karen Peiffer Supports the PGC!

The PGC's mission is to create opportunities for traditional and contemporary artisans, craft enthusiasts, and collectors through education, advocacy, and community.  I support the Guild financially but equally as important - I serve as a leader for the organization and a volunteer in a variety of programs and activities.  I also teach pottery and occasionally stained glass at the PGC as well.  It's satisfying to see artists and people who love to create and make develop in their craft.  It is also heartwarming to see our communities develop a deep appreciation and love of fine craft.  With the serious reduction in grant opportunities for the arts, events like the Extra Give, our annual appeal, and other development efforts become a primary source of operational income.  I'm grateful for any support you can provide to the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen.  If you are interested in volunteering, taking a class, or learning how to develop yourself into a full time artist please contact us or visit our web page at www.pacrafts.org.  I look forward to seeing you!
