As an MSW intern at The Loft, I’ve witnessed how community holds one another when systems fail — because at our core, we believe food is a human right and community care is a necessity.
The Loft has spent years planting and tending strong roots: trust, compassion, and the belief that every neighbor deserves access to food and dignity. But roots were only the beginning. The need has grown, and now so must we. It’s time to build our trunk — a stronger, larger home that allows us to reach higher and support more families than ever before.
