Why I Support The Mix During Extra Give Season

I support The Mix because I’m a product of it. When I was a young man growing up in Lancaster, The Mix was one of the places that believed in me when life was hard, and options felt limited. It gave me guidance, community, and a sense of belonging that helped shape who I am today.

The Mix didn’t just keep me off the streets—it gave me a vision for my future. The mentors there poured into me, challenged me to grow, and helped me see that my circumstances didn’t define my potential.

That’s why I give back today. I’ve lived the impact of The Mix, and I’ve seen how it continues to transform the lives of young people across our city. During this Extra Give season, I’m asking others to join me in supporting a place that’s been changing lives—like mine—for generations.
