Sam’s Lone Oak FUNraiser

As an MSW intern at Lone Oak Animal-Assisted Therapy, I have witnessed firsthand the meaningful impacts equine therapy has on our community in Lancaster County. We have many animals including horses, donkeys, ponies, barn cats, a mule, and a mini horse, in a beautiful setting in Reinholds, PA. Lone Oak is 100% volunteer-run, so 100% of your generous donation goes directly to supporting our animals (nutrition & vet care) and important programming for the community.

Other reasons why you should donate:

1. I’m excited about everything I get to do here - but something very special I’ve worked on is bringing a mini horse to visit seniors at different nursing homes in Lancaster County. So if you care about our senior community, that’s another great reason to support!

2. We provide accessible services to anyone, regardless of the ability to pay, creating equity for all of our community members.

3. We intentionally create programming to benefit our community, and are proud to serve a wide range of clients to support and improve their wellbeing. Some of our client types include elementary and secondary school groups, rehabilitation centers, families, and individuals.
