Zach's Fundraiser for YMCA of the Roses

I’m proud to be part of the YMCA of the Roses community, and I’m excited to support this year’s Give Local York fundraiser. In my role, I’ve had the opportunity to see firsthand how the Y serves as more than just a building -it’s a place where people come together to grow, connect, and thrive. I chose this work because I believe deeply in creating spaces that strengthen both individuals and the community as a whole. The stories are what motivate me. They remind me that the Y is not just a place, but a community that changes lives. I’ve seen friendships form between people who may have never crossed paths otherwise, and I’ve watched individuals gain confidence through programs that challenge and inspire them. Whether it’s a child learning to swim for the first time, a teen finding mentorship, or an adult improving their health, the Y creates opportunities for growth at every stage of life.
