As many of you know, I have the privilege of working with Compass Mark as a Family Services Advocate. This unique position allows me to work with families impacted by incarceration by providing support and case management to children and caregivers in their homes, special visitation with the incarcerated parent and parenting classes within Lancaster County Prison. Our Build A Bears are a great way to support the children and help them navigate this difficult time by having a piece of their parent with them. The bears are each delivered with a special recording from their parent! It is one of my favorite parts of what I get to do!
