As a person in recovery I can attest to the Mighty Mehal Foundation.
I met Shaun Mehal in 2007. When we met, there were minimal resources to help individuals in recovery. Over time the recovery community has grown through helping others, something that Shaun was very adamant about.
Unfortunately we physically lost our friend Shaun, but his spirit has lived on through The Mighty Mehal Foundation. I have seen countless lives changed by the generosity of the community.

The Mighty Mehal Foundation exists to provide financial assistance to individuals pursuing a life of recovery in Lancaster County. Scholarships are awarded on a monthly basis to those attempting to enter or maintain residence in local recovery homes. Recovery and sober living homes are crucial for individuals pursuing long-term sobriety as they offer structured, supportive, and drug-free surroundings that help mitigate relapse risks and facilitate the development of essential life skills.
