Arch Street Center is a nonprofit in Lancaster that provides social rehabilitation and a sense of belonging to adults living with serious mental illness. With over 300 active members, the Center offers more than just meals and activities — it provides stability, structure, and connection that can be truly life-changing.
For many members, Arch Street is a critical support system. By offering daily access to meals, creative programs, and off-site experiences in a stigma-free environment, we help reduce isolation, build life skills, and foster resilience. This kind of consistent support dramatically lowers the risk of psychiatric hospitalizations and incarceration, giving our members the chance to live fuller, more independent lives.
My goal is to raise [$your_goal] to support:
Daily lunches, often the main meal of the day for many members
In-house programming like crafts, karaoke, poetry slams, and support groups
Outings such as bowling, nature walks, and museum visits — experiences that build confidence and connection
A welcoming, consistent place where people can engage in social rehabilitation and rediscover their sense of purpose
If you believe in community, compassion, and second chances, please consider making a donation during the ExtraGive. Every gift helps, and thanks to stretch pool dollars, your support will go even further.
Thank you for helping me support a place to belong.
