For over 20 years, Bright Side Opportunities Center has been transforming lives within the walls of our community hub in Southwest Lancaster City. We proudly carry forward the mission and vision established by Rev. Butcher, dedicated to serving the diverse families and individuals of Lancaster City. Created to address the unique needs of our community, Bright Side provides a wide range of services and resources to offer opportunities for all—especially the youth—to thrive emotionally, physically, and intellectually.

Our vision is to empower, impact, and influence our community for a positive purpose, while our core values—Diversity, Respect, Integrity, Servant Heart, and Collaboration—guide our every action. We strive to act courageously, serve with empathy, promote teamwork, and lead by example, ensuring that each individual has the opportunity to succeed and that our collective efforts strengthen the whole community.

As we look forward to the Extra Give 2025, our goal is to raise $50,000. These funds will help us continue our mission, transform lives, and keep the lights on so that we can keep serving our community with programs and services that empower and uplift.
