I've been a volunteer at Lone Oak for 3 years! Lone Oak rescues horses that have experienced trauma through abuse, neglect, or desertion. By partnering humans with horses who need them, clients are able to help heal horses from their trauma, and the horses are able to help clients trust, heal, and grow in their own way.  

As you may know, I adopted Aspen almost a year ago. She arrived at Lone Oak and got straight to work as a therapy mule! She loves her new job of providing love to clients in need, and in return getting the love and snuggles she did not receive in her prior home. 

Lone Oak welcomes all, and are committed to offering services to marginalized groups that have experienced trauman, including children and veterans. They are determined to make services available to all who need them, regardless of their ability to pay.
