Getting dressed on your own. Trying a food that feels unfamiliar. Being able to join in an activity you love.
Everyday experiences can take practice, and each Schreiber kiddo has their own goals. Our Occupational Therapy team gets to know what matters to each child and their family, then finds ways to help them work toward it.
That practice often looks like play. A game might help a child build the coordination to fasten a button. Working with Play-Doh might strengthen the hands they’ll use to hold a pencil. As their skills grow, so does their confidence to try something new.
We get to celebrate those moments with our kiddos and their families. This ExtraGive, we’re inviting you to help make more of them possible.
Last year, you gave $1,620 through our department’s fundraiser. This year, our goal is $2,000 toward Schreiber’s $130,000 ExtraGive goal, helping sustain the support children need to keep working toward what matters to them.
Even a gift of $10 helps. Your support adds up to more opportunities for Schreiber kiddos to build skills and discover what they can do.
