Chelsea’s Fundraiser for PIRC

For a little over a year, I have had to honor of working at PIRC as an Immigrant Justice Corps Fellow in the Immigrant Survivors Project. 

Every day is filled with immense challenges - the laws and policies surrounding immigration law is changing on a daily basis. No one should have to face this complex immigration process alone. This process becomes even more daunting for individuals with severe trauma as victims of domestic violence and other crimes. More and more people are getting detained and/or placed in removal proceedings, and each person deserves to speak to a lawyer or advocate so they do not have to face court alone.

In order to keep doing this work, we need your help. We are working with clients every day who need assistance, and we can only continue this work if we are financially supported (especially in a time where federal funding is becoming more limited.)
