The Alzheimer's Association has made a difference and will continue to. It makes a difference in a disease that is not a normal part of aging. It makes a difference in managing, preventing, and soon curing a disease that steals memorable moments with our loved ones. It supports caregivers. Through research, thoughtful navigation tools and support systems, ethical and evidence-based advocacy, and a goal to reduce the stigma that Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia is normal. Because Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia kills more people than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined.
