Siah has worked with his physical therapist, Megan, at Schreiber since he was one. He loves seeing what fun she has planned and finding ways to change it up! When he learns something new, he shows the other therapists, then comes home excited to show us.
With Schreiber’s help, he’s learned to sit up on his own and practiced walking in his gait trainer. He also got a communication device so he can tell us what he wants and needs. Seeing him do more for himself makes us so proud.
Along the way, we’ve learned how to support him, too. His therapists show us exercises to practice at home and help us get equipment he needs in his everyday life. We love the staff and how they work with our son.
