The Samaritan Center’s mission begins and ends with people and our community.
Since 1988, the Samaritan Center has been building healthy minds and strong communities by providing mental health care services to children, adults, couples, and families with limited financial resources.
The challenge of accessibility is more critical than ever. With an estimated 1 in 5 adults experiencing mental health challenges and 2 in 5 youth reporting persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness, and many more struggling with anxiety or depression, the ability to afford high-quality care is often the single biggest hurdle.
Our Accessible Care
We break down barriers to mental health care through three donor-supported initiatives:
1. The Samaritan Fund: Counseling Subsidies for All
In an ideal world, everyone would have access to a professional counselor when they need one. Unfortunately, the cost of therapy and a shortage of mental health professionals are the two biggest barriers to care. Your gift to the Samaritan Fund helps challenge both of these issues simultaneously.
2. The Silent Samaritan Fund: Specialized Support for Women
Women often face unique circumstances — including economic instability, caregiving burdens, and gender-based violence — that create significant obstacles to seeking mental health help. The Silent Samaritan Fund provides a vital, specialized safety net to ensure women can access life-changing care. This dedicated fund supports counseling subsidies specifically for women and their families. Your generosity is already making a tangible difference in 2025.
3. Child and Adolescent Fund: Early Intervention and School-Based Care
The mental health crisis among our youth is a critical challenge, and the key to addressing it is accessible, integrated care. We believe children and teens should have access to find the help they need. Your support for the Child and Adolescent Fund fuels two life-changing programs.
Be a Catalyst for Change
Your gift today to the Samaritan Center will help your local community get the accessible, life-changing mental health care they deserve.
You can help your neighbors heal and thrive. You can give people hope. You can change the lives of individuals, families, and communities.
The Samaritan Center's mission begins and ends with people and the community. Samaritan Center fosters hope and healing through professional counseling, consultation and education while respecting and integrating personal and spiritual values.
