WHAT IS PENN SQUARE OPERA?
Opera is the culmination of the performing arts: singing, sets, costumes, stories, orchestra, everything combined to make for exciting musical experiences. Young, talented, professional artists have a challenging road in this career.Penn Square Opera was created with two goals in mind:
To provide professional performance and training opportunity for talented artists at the beginning of their career in a nurturing and supportive atmosphere.
To bring professional performances of opera and musical theatre to Lancaster audiences and the region.
We are raising funds towards our 2025-2026 Season.
$1500 sponsor-a-singer : Your donation will go directly to the hiring of one of our professional singers
$1000 venue sponsor : Your donation will go directly to the rental of one of our performance spaces
$500 travel sponsor: Your donation will go directly to cover the travel costs of our artists
$1-499 music sponsor: Your donation goes directly to keeping Opera alive and well in Lancaster
