At Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, we are makers & visionaries, designers & entrepreneurs.

 

Located in the heart of Lancaster’s arts community, we are a vibrant micro-college offering personal attention and guidance from our faculty of working artists, internships, and hands-on experiences to help students pursue their own creative lives.

 

More than 410 students are enrolled at the undergraduate level, and we also serve thousands of students through the Center for Creative Exploration, with classes for primary and secondary students, through retirees. The College’s Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees include Animation & Game Art, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, Live Experience Design, and Photography & Video.

 

We believe creativity enriches experiences and transforms communities, and creatives design the future locally, in Pennsylvania, and as far as we dare to reach.

 

 Gifts made to PCA&D directly support: 

·        Increasing access to learners of all kinds through scholarships for the Center for Creative Exploration’s Grades 1-12 programming

·        Enhancing hands-on learning experiences for current and future PCA&D BFA students

·        Bringing in professional creatives through our exhibition program via free and publicly accessible exhibitions, lectures, and more.

Who We Are

Pennsylvania College of Art & Design. Founded in 1982, PCA&D is a private, non-profit, professional art college offering BFA degrees, certificates, credentials, and curricula that enable students of all ages to pursue art as their life’s work

PCA&D is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) and the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), is approved as a college and for degree-granting privileges by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and is a member of the Association of Independent Colleges of Art & Design (AICAD).
