Ephrata Area Education Foundation

The Ephrata Area Education Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing the educational experience for students in Ephrata, Pennsylvania. Founded with the mission to promote academic excellence, innovation, and opportunity, the foundation works closely with the local school district to provide funding for various educational initiatives outside of the school district's budget.

The foundation envisions a future where every student has equal access to high-quality education and resources, regardless of their background or circumstances. 

Each year, the Foundation gives over $50,000 in venture grants to teachers to create innovative opportunities to students (examples have been Book Vending Machines, Squid Dissections, and Composting Cohort which including composting bins, and a butterfly garden).

Each year, the Foundation gives over $75,000 to Signature Programs in the school district (examples include STEAM days, Vex Robotics, and Early Learning-read more about these programs on the Signature Prog button or visit our website).
