with local acts, such as Duane Slaymaker.
– Vagabonds Car & Bike Show—Co-sponsored by the Vagabonds Car Club, our car show has
grown enormously, in the three years, since we started it. We had over 400 show cars this year.
Joe Calhoun (WGAL) has featured us on “Backyard Weather.”
– Community Yard Sale—Our Community Yard Sale has given our citizens a chance to sell their
treasures. It has also given our residents a chance to meet and greet their neighbors. This has
become a popular event.
– Kid’s Movie in the Park and fi reworks—(free to the public) is held in July and sponsored by
Lancaster Toyota. This event has become huge, with thousands of people in attendance.
– Music Fest—Our Two Towers Jamboree is an opportunity for many genres of music in our
Community Park. This event is in its infancy, we are striving to build the Amphitheater, so we can
book regional acts.
– Blues Festival—(free to the public) Labor Day weekend brings this event for adults which has
become a regional hit with blues enthusiasts. We had a record crowd this year.
– East Petersburg Day—In September, we host our three day carnival that starts with a “Band
