The arts are for everyone.

No matter who you are or where you come from, everyone deserves access to the arts.

Presenting arts from all around the world (and from just around the corner), the Ware Center for the Arts at Millersville University is on a mission to lift all voices, reflect all cultures, and open all doors through the arts and arts education.

Your support helps us provide:

🚌 Free school-day performances for local children

🤟 Accessibility services such as ASL interpretation, touch tours, audio description, and sensory-friendly performances

🌎 Bilingual and nonverbal performances that make shows accessible to recent immigrants and refugees

🎨 Arts camps for children and youth of mixed abilities, including scholarships for children with financial barriers

🖼️ Free access for local artists to state-of-the-art performance and gallery spaces

🧩 Affordable family-friendly shows that include free kids' activities and crafts

🎙️ Free events highlighting local marginalized artists

🎟️ Free tickets for underserved communities to make the arts accessible to everyone

Together, these programs break down barriers and open doors, making sure that the arts are not a privilege, but a shared experience for all.

Why do we need your support?

Our programs rely almost exclusively on grants and donations. With your gift, you are saying loudly and clearly that everyone deserves access to the transformative power of the arts.
