YOU can impact youth mental wellness with a donation to Touchstone Foundation! Your gift helps a child afford to go to therapy, all year long!

Your gift can support these impacts. In one year,

  • 30 fellows in our Clinical Fellowship are becoming new therapists.
  • 9 students received scholarships in social work and psychology.
  • 2,214 therapy sessions for children and young people in need.
  • 29 high school students empowered in mental health advocacy.

At Touchstone Foundation, our vision is that all children and youth in Lancaster County experience mental wellness. Our mission is to elevate the mental well-being of youth by improving access to care, developing the mental health workforce, and building awareness through advocacy and education.

Guided by our core values — Caring, Collaboration, a Whole-Person Approach, Advocacy, and Visibility — we invest in programs that remove barriers to care, promote wellness, and create opportunities for youth to thrive.

Touchstone Foundation creates pathways for mental wellness by connecting youth, families, and professionals in a shared mission of hope and healing. Through community partnerships and donor support, we make mental health accessible, visible, and achievable for every young person in Lancaster County.

What your donation can do at Touchstone Foundation:

  • Access to Care: We help families and young people connect to affordable, culturally responsive mental health services in Lancaster County. Through our Mental Health Access Assistance Program, we remove financial and systemic barriers, promote wellness, and strengthen relationships with schools, faith groups, and providers to reach those in need.
  • Youth Empowerment & Prevention: Our Rise Above and Youth Mentorship Programs connect youth to positive networks and purpose, creating safe spaces for belonging, leadership, and advocacy. These initiatives focus on suicide prevention, depression awareness, and mental health career exploration.
  • Advocacy & Education: We work to increase awareness of depression and youth suicide warning signs, particularly among marginalized populations. By educating policymakers, families, and communities, we promote whole-person care and advance equitable mental health policies.
  • Building the Workforce: Our Talent Pipeline, Scholarship, Student Symposium, and Clinical Fellowship Programs prepare and retain the next generation of mental health professionals. These initiatives support students exploring mental health careers and strengthen Lancaster County’s capacity for youth-focused mental health services.
