Dear Friends of LST,

Lancaster’s largest day of online giving, the Extraordinary Give, is here! We hope that you will consider what an impact last year’s Extraordinary Give had on Lancaster Shakespeare Theatre.

In 2025, thanks to the participation of generous supporters like you, we have produced five successful productions, Measure for Measure, Cry it Out, The Tempest, Streamers, and Richard II. This was our most expansive season ever!

We brought a new group of students together for our collaborative high school theatre festival, Shakes-Peers, and continued our Will to Read discussion group, focusing on a different Shakespeare play each month. 

We hope you will join in the audience for our 2026 season, which you can learn more about at lancastershakespeare.org!

Mission

Lancaster Shakespeare Theatre (LST) offers thought-provoking theatre, promoting a more reflective and inclusive community. While Shakespeare is at the core of what LST does, the theatre also produces notable plays by other authors that portray the universal human experience through the immediacy of live performance. LST prioritizes educational programs for both children and adults.
