Give Like Thad – Empowering Opportunity at Thaddeus Stevens College

At Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, we believe in transforming potential into purpose. Every day, our students embark on a journey toward brighter futures through hands-on learning, practical skills, and career readiness. Over the last three years, we have seen a 20% increase in enrollment, with approximately 1,500 students now part of our campus community. Last year alone, funds raised from this event helped us launch 670 students into the regional workforce—equipped with the skills they need to succeed.

Today, you have the power to be a part of their story—changing lives in just 24 hours through the Extraordinary Give.

Why does your gift matter? Nearly 40% of our students are eligible for the Stevens Grant and are able to attend for minimal or no cost. This grant can cover tuition, books, tools, housing, and meals for students with financial need. For the rest, graduates leave with an average of $12,000 in student debt—far below the national average. But they don’t just graduate—they thrive: 98% of our students secure job offers or continue their education immediately, stepping into high-demand careers in fields like construction, manufacturing, and technology.

But there’s more to the story. Your support today goes beyond tuition assistance—it funds the tools, resources, and experiences that shape our students into leaders. From essential scholarships to our Student Home Construction Program, where students learn by building homes for the local community, your gift makes a tangible impact on both their education and their futures.

How can you make an impact?

  1. Donate to Change Lives: Every dollar you give today is partially matched, doubling the impact of your generosity. Your contribution helps provide scholarships, tools, and resources that allow students to focus on their education and graduate prepared for success.
