TerraClear Foundation

Give Clean Water. Give EXTRA!

TerraClear Foundation began with a simple vision: every family should have access to clean, safe drinking water.

This ExtraGive, we are inviting 100 donors to come together to provide clean water for 200 families in rural Laos.

And we have exciting news!

$6,000 MATCH!

Two generous TerraClear supporters have provided $6,000 in matching funds, so your ExtraGive donation can go twice as far while matching funds are available.

Whether you give $25, $75, $150, or more, every gift—and every donor—matters.

$75 Provides Clean Water for a Family

A gift of $75 provides a family in rural Laos with a ceramic water filter and four in-home visits focused on clean water, hygiene, health, and sanitation.

One filter can provide a family with safe drinking water every day for more than five years.

That means your gift can continue making a difference for parents, children, and grandparents for years to come.

For families living on very limited incomes, even an affordable water filter can be out of reach. TerraClear Foundation helps bridge that gap by subsidizing filters for families who otherwise could not afford them.

Our work is carried out in partnership with TerraClear Production, a social enterprise in Laos that manufactures and distributes ceramic water filters. Most customers purchase their filters at the regular price, while TerraClear Foundation helps make filters and education accessible to the poorest and most vulnerable families.

More Than a Water Filter

Our program doesn't stop when a filter is delivered.

Trained Lao staff visit each family's home four times, providing practical education about safe drinking water, filter use and maintenance, handwashing, hygiene, sanitation, and other practices that help families stay healthy.

This combination of clean water, education, and follow-up helps create lasting change.

A filter sitting in a home is important. A family knowing how to use it, care for it, and practice good hygiene makes the impact even greater.

Clean Water Is Good for the Planet, Too

In many rural communities, families traditionally boil their drinking water over wood fires.

Using a ceramic water filter reduces the need for boiling, saving more than 1.3 tons of wood per year, reducing carbon emissions, and easing pressure on local forests.

Your gift creates an impact that reaches far beyond a single glass of water.

Will You Be One of Our 100?

On November 20, we have just 24 hours to reach our ExtraGive goal:

100 Donors

$15,000

200 Families with Clean Water

You don't have to give $75 to make a difference.

$25 moves us closer.
$75 provides clean water for one family.
$150 provides clean water for two families.
$750 provides clean water for ten families.

And thanks to our $6,000 match, your gift can go twice as far while matching funds remain.

Together, we can help ensure that something as basic as clean drinking water is within reach for families throughout rural Laos.

Give Clean Water. Give EXTRA. Change a Family's Future.
