SERVANT STAGE

A nonprofit organization

Servant Stage serves Lancaster County by making exceptional theatrical experiences and youth theater educational opportunities accessible to everyone! With a mission to bring the performing arts into our community, Servant Stage brings outstanding performances to people in parks, theaters, schools, retirement homes, churches, and other community venues. All performances are offered as Pay-What-You-Will so that anyone can attend.

Now beginning our 14th season, Servant Stage currently reaches over 50,000 people each year with uplifting and inspirational performances, and bringing youth education programs to thousands of students across the community.

In 2025, thousands of people across Lancaster County have been inspired by our MainStage productions of Little Women, Swing: the Broadway Musical, A Tale of Two Cities and our current touring production of A Christmas Carol

Servant Stage reached over 850 local students through educational classes, camps and youth-focused theater companies. Whether weekly pay-what-you-will theatre classes or our Teen Company, Apprentice Company, Junior Company, and Kid Company programs, students experienced a wide variety of opportunities to serve the community while learning from theater professionals.

Our 2026 season encompasses the 14 youth theater productions and 5 mainstage touring productions listed on the graphic below!

Your support helps make these productions available to everyone in our community as pay-what-you-will!

"Thank you so much for an engaging and meaningful experience.  Our students were really engaged and had some excellent questions in the following days.  The music was fun and represented great examples of literature, and the spoken components of the program were filled with interesting and relevant information.  Thanks so much for the wonderful experience!"

Matt Pavelko, Lancaster School District

"Pay-what-you-will theatre can be completely professional as well as affordable, and can reach and hold audiences who want quality productions. Servant Stage also proves every season that "family friendly" never has to have a lowering of theatrical standards or be aimed specifically to children. In a day when dinner and a movie costs a small fortune, it's a privilege to be able to afford to take your family to professional live theatre and still be able to pay the bills.
-Marakay Rogers BroadwayWorld Review

"Servant Stage is bringing Broadway quality theater to Lancaster County residents, many of whom rarely ever see live stage performances... what Servant Stage is doing is ground-breaking with nothing similar anywhere in the country." - Pittsburgh Post Gazette "Broadway on a Budget"

"Of course we enjoyed the show, but more than that is the joy that Servant Stage always brings to our residents, many of whom have very few entertainment opportunities."

-Wayne Headman, Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community

"The shows are pay-what-you-will, this has made it possible for our family to go, and also bring friends, and youth from our from the community that would never be able to pay the full price for the top quality performances offered by Servant Stage Productions. I think what means the most to me as an individual, is the heart & care of Johnathan, Tyler and the team at Servant Stage Productions. When you go to the performances, you truly feel that you are valued and that you make a difference to the SERVANT Stage Productions Team. Thank you for being a part of our community."
-Adam Lattin, Facebook Review

"The acting and singing was incredibly professional and the costumes and stage sets were really aligned with the storyline. The 20+ group I attended with all had a wonderful time. I can't believe we got all that for pay what you will. Servant Stage is Lancaster's very own Broadway. Well done!"
