Our Impact

As we celebrate the sixth anniversary of the Red Rose Film Festival, we’re filled with gratitude for everyone who has believed in what we’re building together.

What began in 2019 as a local celebration of independent film has grown into a platform recognized across the country—one that continues to champion filmmakers, students, and storytellers whose work inspires connection, creativity, and change.

Through the unwavering support of partners like Penn Cinema, Zoetropolis, Willow Valley Communities, Sight & Sound Films, High Foundation, and Oak Tree Outdoor Advertising, we’ve transformed Lancaster into a home for film—where industry meets community and stories find their audience.

In 2025, our reach extends further than ever before. Submissions from more than 30 countries, expanded educational collaborations, and an evolving lineup of local and global talent are shaping Lancaster into a hub for storytelling on a world stage.

During the Extraordinary Give on Friday, November 21, 2025, your contribution helps us continue that mission—empowering artists, amplifying diverse voices, and ensuring that film remains a force for growth and belonging in Central Pennsylvania.

Thank you for standing with us through every frame of this journey. Together, we’re proving that extraordinary stories can start right here at home.

With gratitude,
