Imagine being a child who needs a ventilator to breathe. For most, the idea of going to summer camp—ziplines, swimming, campfires, and new friends—feels impossible.
At PA Vent Camp, we make the impossible possible. Since 1993, we’ve given kids ages 5–18 who rely on ventilators, BiPAP, or CPAP the chance to experience a true overnight camp. For one magical week each summer, 25–40 campers discover independence, adventure, and lifelong friendships—while receiving the round-the-clock medical care they need to be safe.

With the support of a skilled volunteer team, we provide an environment of freedom, adventure, and possibility. Campers experience the joy of swimming, dancing, arts and crafts, campfires, and so much more—all while building confidence and independence in a safe, supportive community. Families rest assured knowing their loved ones are cared for by medical professionals while enjoying the chance to be fully immersed in the magic of camp.
