About Us

Meals on Wheels of Lancaster, Inc. (MOWL) is a non-profit organization who has been dedicated to serving the Lancaster community for over 50 years. Our mission is to provide freshly prepared home-delivered meals to those who cannot reasonably provide meals for themselves. We strive to alleviate food insecurity and social isolation by building relationships and providing wellness checks to the clients that we serve. Our vision is to ensure that our neighbors are nourished-- both body and soul.

We are humbled to have served more than 1,000,000 home-delivered and congregate meals to Lancaster residents since January 2020. While the demand for our services continues to grow, we are also grappling with rising costs. Over the past few years, we have experienced a 30% increase in food prices which has put a strain on our ability to meet the needs of our community. Your support is more vital than ever!

This year, our goal is to raise $100,000! Your contribution will help us continue to nourish our neighbors. We invite you to join us at 551 West in Lancaster between 4 PM and 8 PM where there will be delicious food, drinks, live music from Easily Amused, giving stations and raffle items!
