Lititz Warwick Community Chest

In operation since 1928, the Lititz Warwick Community Chest is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting families and individuals suffering from food insecurity within the Warwick School District in Pennsylvania. Our motto is  "Neighbors Helping Neighbors," and we coordinate directly with clients to provide donated non-perishable food and hygiene items as well as fresh produce, dairy and meat products. We deliver food to the client's home, maintaining dignity, privacy and flexibility. This also affords service to those without transportation. 

So far in 2025, we have made over 800 deliveries, helping more than 1,600 adults and 1,000 children serve healthy meals to fuel them in their jobs and at school. We have already distributed more than 70,000 lbs. of non-perishable food and hygiene products to our neighbors. 

We are so grateful to be 100% funded by local individuals, businesses, churches and organizations—people just like YOU! We partner with our local Scout Troop and Den for the annual Scouting for Food drive and the National Association of Letter Carriers for the Stamp Out Hunger drive, as well as many other community partners throughout the year. Non-perishable food is date checked then delivered immediately to local residents. Fresh produce and protein are purchased at local grocery stores: it's all about focusing on local community!

ExtraGive is our largest single financial fundraiser each year and we take our responsibility as good stewards of our donations seriously: 95 cents of every $1 donation in food or finances goes directly back to the community. We exist due to the generosity of our neighbors—we cannot do this important work without you! Thank you so much for your support for the LWCC during ExtraGive and throughout the year. We are very fortunate to live in a community who believes in lending neighbors a helping hand when it's needed.
