Leg Up Farm

Leg Up Farm's mini mule Kreature came to our herd by happenstance when staff members were looking for a small equine for our Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy program. Different from horses, mules have the ability to remember, and recall, and worry about things that they have experienced. This helps Kreature relate really well to EAP clients.

Unfortunately, as a result of Kreature’s recent procedure, we discovered that he will need another, more extensive surgical procedure to address his health challenges. Unplanned expenses like this can be challenging. Our engaging and fun environments and custom treatment plans enable us to improve outcomes for more than 700 individuals with special needs each year. Community support is the reason we’re able to keep our services affordable and accessible.
