For over 75 years, the Lancaster County Food Hub has been the largest provider of free services addressing the basic human needs of food, clothing, and shelter in our community.

    • 12,500 individuals received free clothing, providing dignity and relief for back-to-school needs, seasonal changes, and more.

    Who We Are

    Today is the day YOU can do something extraordinary by supporting the Lancaster County Food Hub (LCFH). We are the counties larges provider of free services to meet the basic human needs of Food, Clothing, Shelter and Transportation designed to honor the dignity of all and help uplift our community.

    What is Under Our Roof?
    • The Food Hub - 7,500 square feet & the largest food distribution site in Lancaster County. Last year over 1 million pounds of free food was distributed to almost 35,000 of our neighbors suffering from food insecurity and the need continues to rise.
    • The Clothing Bank provides free clothing to anyone in need.
    • The PA Workwear program provides professional attire for individuals preparing for a job interview and a week's worth once the job is secured.
    • A Hygiene Bank provides all toiletry items as well as laundry detergent.
    • Winter Shelter for homeless women/homeless mothers and their children. Partnered with St. Mary’s Church, 44 women and children can be housed for the night. They receive all the basic necessities of toiletries, bedding, towels, blankets, and snacks as well as emergency case management to help them obtain permanent housing.
    • The Wheels to Work program sells safe, reliable cars well below retail prices to low income people. Reliable transportation is necessary, when it comes to getting a job, making certain families get to where they need to be, and having mobility choices.
