Open Doors is shaping Habitat’s future, empowering our team with the tools we need to serve more families through affordable homeownership. The initiative seeks to raise $4 million to increase of our construction output by 50 percent through 2026… and put us in the position to build more for years to come. 

We’re incredibly close to reaching our goal and your ExtraGive donation can put us over the finish line! As we significantly add more home builds to our construction schedule, we are serving more families. The donation you make today enables us to open even more doors to homeownership tomorrow.

Homebuyers in our program purchase their home from Habitat with a zero-percent mortgage that fits their monthly budget. They learn valuable skills through financial literacy classes, home maintenance workshops and through building their own homes. Families come to a position of strength so they are successful homeowners for many years to come. They lift up their own futures, as well as help to make Lancaster a more vibrant place to live and work.

Our community is facing a housing crisis. With low inventory and home prices at an all-time high, the hardest hit are lower- to moderate-income families seeking entry-level homes. Celebrate ExtraGive and Open Doors with us at Spring House brewing at our final House That Beer Built fundraiser from 6-9 PM. Each beer of mixed drink purchased means a dollar donated to Habitat. Raffle prizes and live music by Wise Giants and our very own Andy Joseph will make this evening extra festive.
