For 40 years, Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity has helped local families build a future through affordable homeownership. Since 1986, we’ve built more than 285 homes and helped hundreds of families become first-time homeowners.

That’s 40 years of progress worth celebrating. But for many families in Lancaster and Lebanon counties, owning a home is still out of reach.

Home prices continue to put homeownership beyond what many working families can afford. And without an affordable path to owning a home, families can struggle to build financial stability, put down roots, and plan for the future.

We believe more families deserve the chance to own a home they can afford.

Habitat makes that possible by building and renovating homes that are sold to first-time homebuyers with an affordable, zero-percent mortgage. But bringing that opportunity to more families takes ongoing community support. From purchasing construction materials and preparing future builds to working with families on their path to homeownership, every home takes time, resources, and people willing to invest in the work.
