Puppet Improv at LIP
$0 Raised
Lancaster Improv Players (LIP), founded in 2015, has performed throughout Pennsylvania. In addition to our improv theater home in Lancaster, we’ve performed in Philadelphia, York, Harrisburg, Reading, State College, Lebanon, PA, Baltimore, MD, and New York City.
In 2019, LIP became an independent nonprofit organization and established our first theater in Downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania. During the Coronavirus shutdown, we moved to our 35-seat theater at 16 South Prince Street in Downtown Lancaster. LIP house teams perform both long and short form improv on our stage weekly, crafting an unforgettable experience for the audience every month!
As we enter our TENTH YEAR, we are fundraising during Extra Give to help us fulfill our mission to make Lancaster a funnier place!
LIP is more than improv comedy; we are committed to giving back to our community. This dedication has been evident since our early performances and continues through our partnerships and fundraisers for local charities. We support organizations like The Period Project and Free the Tampon by providing access to free menstrual products in our public restrooms, as well as providing course scholarships to improv students of all experience levels.
Lancaster Improv Players presents the EXTRAGIVE MINI-FEST for its third year in a row, this time at Zoetropolis Cinema Stillhouse! Join in a 6 hour celebration of all things improv comedy, featuring teams from around the city and state.
Admission to the festival is FREE to anyone who has contributed to ANY ExtraGive 2025 campaign, not only if you donate to LIP. Just show proof of your donation at the door and gain entrance to the comedy marathon of your dreams!
Doors at 5:30PM, shows from 6:00pm to 12:00AM
