More Than Childcare...

A Pathway to Generational Success

Since 1915, LEEC has partnered with working families in downtown Lancaster to provide affordable, top-tier early care and education. We are a non-profit, Keystone STAR 4 and NAEYC-accredited facility dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty by taking a whole-family approach.

When you give to LEEC during the ExtraGive, you are not just funding a classroom. You are directly supporting families who are working hard to better their lives.

Your ExtraGive donation ensures:

• Tuition Scholarships: We use a sliding scale based on family size and income so that exceptional care fits into a working parent's budget. Your gift directly funds these critical scholarships.

• Free Pre-K Counts: Your support helps us offer Pennsylvania's tuition-free Pre-K Counts program to eligible families, ensuring 3- and 4-year-olds are fully prepared for kindergarten.

• Support for the Whole Family: We require our parents to be employed full-time or in school. We provide wrap-around care from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM, alongside parent education programs that teach everything from childhood literacy to financial planning.

The Impact of Your Generosity

When children are given an environment rich in experiences, they develop the confidence, self-worth, and social-emotional skills necessary to enter school ready to learn. When parents have reliable, high-quality childcare, our local economy thrives.

Be the Guide for a Lancaster Family Today

Every client receiving our subsidy pays something, making this a true partnership rather than a handout. But we cannot bridge the gap without the generosity of our community.

Help us ensure that our economy stays strong and our children enter kindergarten emotionally secure and ready to learn.

Donate today to Lancaster Early Education Center and change the story for a working family.
