Lancaster County Art Association has been inspiring creativity since 1936. Our mission is to celebrate and promote the visual arts through the shared experience of exhibition, education and activities with artists, patrons and the community. We have 263 members and membership continues to grow.

LCAA is a cornerstone for artists, patrons, and our community. Our Association serves all of Lancaster County and provides countless opportunities for professional and non-professional artists, teens and children to learn, grow, and showcase their talents. Our Strasburg location had its grand opening in 1998. Our building consists of the Steinmetz Gallery, Kauffman Gallery, clay room, and studio.

LCAA schedules numerous juried events throughout the year. Each exhibition event has a reception and awards ceremony to recognize and celebrate those artists. We are dedicated to inspiring the next generation of artists by establishing the Inspiring Young Artists Project. The intent of this project is to inspire children and teens through creativity and shared interests. We actively make community connections by providing free art projects for children during community events including National Night Out.

Our programs rely almost exclusively on grants and donations. By helping us reach our fundraising goal, you will be strengthening our foundation to inspire, create, and celebrate the talents of artists for generations to come.
