KINBER is a nonprofit organization committed to working with communities, governments, businesses, schools, and nonprofits to advance digital inclusion and sustainable innovation, creating more opportunities and improving the quality of life for all.
1 in 10 Pennsylvanians does not have internet access. 1 in 3 don't have a laptop or tablet to get online. Many more do not have the skills needed to thrive in a digital world. KINBER is committed to changing this through community based programs and resources that increase digital inclusion and digital equity across the Commonwealth.
Through our programs, we've:
- distributed refurbished laptops to local residents in need
- offered 1 on 1 digital coaching at libraries in underserved communities,
- provided digital learning classes, and digital devices to seniors and those with low incomes,
- supported the creation of digital learning labs and laptop loan programs at community partner sites throughout the state,
- developed a program that trains high school students to serve as digital navigators, providing digital skills coaching to underserved community members,
Your support provides those in need with internet access, computers, and digital skills training needed for employment, education, healthcare, social connection, news, and information. Together we can empower individuals to thrive in the digital world. Learn more at www.KINBER.org
