Thank you for ending family homelessness, and extending opportunities that last a lifetime!

Bridge of Hope is a unique solution to family homelessness. With your help, single mothers and their children have been ending homelessness through Bridge of Hope for more than 35 years.

Comprehensive services help families move into safe and sustainable housing and achieve financial stability.

Families receive guidance in budgeting and connections to resources including job training and education, wellness assessments and other case management services.

Each family is linked with a group of 6-10 Neighboring Volunteers from a local Christian church who provide tangible and emotional support, such as help to find housing and furnishings, emergency childcare, networking connections to resources, a ride if transportation breaks down, encouragement and friendship. Neighboring Volunteers provide the vital support needed for a family to overcome the crisis and trauma of homelessness!

Family homelessness is a stark reality in Lancaster, but is often not visible as families live doubled up, sleeping on a couch or in a motel or car, in order to stay together. Single mothers with children are particularly vulnerable to homelessness because they frequently shoulder the majority of childcare alone.

Your support will end homelessness for more single mothers and children, and transform lives!

Mission

The mission of Bridge of Hope is to engage churches in ending family homelessness through Neighboring relationships that demonstrate Christ's love.
