The Club is safely serving youth daily with programs that emphasize academic success, career enhancement, character and leadership development, and healthy lifestyles.
The Club serves as a home-away-from home for kids in Lancaster and Columbia - it's their place to go for a hot meal, a safe place where they can simply be a kid! Our staff work tirelessly to ensure that our kids are getting additional help with schooling, have the opportunity to participate in a sports league, express themselves through art, and more!
The Boys Club of Lancaster began serving boys in Lancaster City in 1939, later included Girls Services, and officially became the Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster in 1982. Since our inception, our mission has consistently aimed to provide youth with a safe and positive place to spend their after school hours. From a single site in the Southeast part of Lancaster City, our organization has expanded and now includes three Lancaster City Clubhouse locations, the Roberto Clemente Field, four Community School sites in Burrowes, Washington, King, and Price Elementary Schools, and a Clubhouse in Columbia Borough.
The Boys & Girls Club will always be a safe space to celebrate and support our kids!
A place they can find help with homework, explore new interests, enjoy a hot meal, and find a caring adult.
