Who We Are

Wittel Farm Growing Project (WFGP), located in Elizabethtown, PA, is a ministry of the Lutheran Camping Corporation and is in partnership with Hunger Free Lancaster County and the Lower Susquehanna Synod of the ELCA. WFGP is a volunteer driven ministry which shares Christ's love and proclaims the Gospel by growing and distributing fresh, wholesome vegetables to food insecure individuals and families throughout Lancaster county. Additionally, WFGP educates its volunteers and other guests about Christian stewardship of all God's good gifts including the land and what comes from it, hunger insecurity issues and challenges, and how these challenges may be overcome through active Christian discipleship and caring for our neighbors. WFGP works to feed food insecure people as we have been fed by Christ. All who participate in WFGP experience Christian fellowship, faith formation, and spiritual renewal.
