St. John Neumann Catholic School

A nonprofit organization

At St. John Neumann Catholic School, we are Mission driven! As a PK4 to grade 8 Catholic school located in Manheim Township, SJNCS is devoted to St. John Neumann’s belief that "children are the hope of our nation." Our theme for the 24-25 School Year is "Blessed are they..." and our focus is teaching our students the beautiful wisdom of the Beatitudes, the blessings recounted by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. Withing these teachings, Jesus helps us to understand what it means to be a Christian and provides a type of “blueprint” for how we should live our lives. We bring these ideals to life everyday by living our Mission to welcome and value each person’s giftedness while inspiring growth in Truth, Wisdom, Faith & Virtue.  Our success in this mission is measured in the individual growth, academic accolades, social conviction, community impact, and faith-filled leadership of our students and alumni who embody the good news of the Gospel.

We strive to provide our students with academic rigor rooted in a faith-filled, service-oriented community.  A visit to SJNCS reveals all the best of a traditional classroom experience with the latest technological resources to enhance each student’s learning experience.  Beyond our core focus on strong foundational skills in reading, writing and math, our curriculum fully integrates Art, Music, Computer, STEM, Spanish, Physical Education, and Library.  We believe firmly that our students are a gift from God, endowed with unique skills and interests and our faculty works with each student to ensure that every student is challenged to meet their own academic potential.  When necessary, our students receive additional help from our instructional support staff, school counselor, math support and reading specialist.

Every gift made during the ExtraGive is an investment in our students, our future & our Mission. Thank you for your consideration during this year’s ExtraGive.

Who We Are

St. John Neumann Catholic School is writing the next chapter of Catholic Education in Lancaster County. A PK-4 to grade 8 Catholic school in the Diocese of Harrisburg, SJNCS is continuing the proud 95 year tradition of St. Anne School with a new name, a new location and a new school building. Our goal is to provide our students with academic rigor rooted in a faith-filled, service-oriented community. Our students are taught in the traditional manner but with the latest technological resources to enhance each student’s learning experience. Supplemented by classes in Art, Music, Physical Education and Spanish, and reinforced with our own instructional support as well as a reading specialist, math instructor, speech therapist, and school counselor, SJNCS is able to educate and develop the whole child. We believe firmly that our students are a gift from God, endowed with unique skills and interests and our faculty works with each student to ensure that every student is challenged to meet their own academic potential.
