SLC Community Choirs

SLC Community Choirs is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing people together through the shared joy of music. Now beginning our 19th season, we serve Lancaster County and the surrounding community, welcoming singers from a variety of backgrounds and musical experience levels.

Our mission is to provide exceptional musical experiences and education while creating a welcoming place where people can belong, grow, connect, and celebrate the gift of song together.

Our repertoire is as diverse as our singers, spanning folk tunes, show tunes, spirituals, multicultural selections, contemporary works, and more. Through this variety, we honor the richness of music while giving our singers opportunities to explore styles that inspire and challenge them.

But our mission extends beyond our adult choir.

During the 2026–2027 season, we are continuing to expand opportunities for our community to experience and participate in music. This season includes our three-night Christmas Concert Series, our Dinner Concert, our Spring Concert Series, and the SLC Community Choirs Children's Choral Festival, an eight-week music enrichment experience for students in grades 4–8.

The Children's Choral Festival will give young singers an opportunity to do much more than prepare for a concert. They'll work alongside our adult choir, musicians, and production team while learning about singing, instruments, rehearsals, sound, lighting, and the many people and skills required to bring a live performance to the stage.

Our concerts are offered on a pay-what-you-will basis. We believe high-quality live music should be something our entire community can experience, regardless of financial circumstances. The generosity of our donors and community partners makes that possible.

When you give to SLC Community Choirs, you aren't simply funding sheet music, rehearsal space, musicians, or performances. You're helping create moments of belonging, confidence, education, creativity, and connection. You're helping a young singer discover what music can become. You're helping an adult find a community where their voice belongs. And you're helping ensure that families can experience live music together without cost being a barrier.

On November 20, 2026, we invite you to support SLC Community Choirs through The ExtraGive.

Whether you give $10, $25, $50, $100, or more, your gift becomes part of something much bigger when joined with the generosity of our community.

Help us keep music alive, accessible, and growing in Lancaster County. Help us keep our community singing.
