Every day, Scouting changes lives — right here at home. The Pennsylvania Dutch Council, Scouting America empowers young people across Lancaster and Lebanon Counties to become leaders of character, compassion, and courage.

Through partnerships with 62 community organizations and 124 local Scouting units, our volunteers deliver programs that build character, citizenship, personal fitness, and leadership — the foundation of tomorrow’s stronger communities.

Our Impact Last Year

Scouting isn’t just about badges and campfires — it’s about measurable, lasting change. Here’s what your support made possible in 2024:

• 🌟 2,434 youth members grew in confidence, leadership, and integrity
• 🤝 1,529 dedicated adult volunteers gave their time and heart to mentor the next generation
• 🦅 82 new Eagle Scouts completed service projects that transformed their neighborhoods and schools
• ⏱️ 38,000+ community service hours — representing over $1.3 million in local impact
• 🏕️ 1,746 Scouts experienced the outdoors at our camps and high-adventure programs
• 🧭 7,442 Scouts and adults used our local facilities for camping, training, and events
• 🥫 122,153 pounds of food collected through Scouting for Food, helping families across our region
