Off The Streets Lancaster

The past few years have highlighted for all of us that our homes provide a healthy, safe environment for living, learning and working. Can you help Off The Streets move more families into permanent housing in 2026?

Off The Streets helps families to overcome what may be the last hurdle keeping them out of permanent housing.   OTS will supply:

• a security deposit paid directly to the landlord which will lock in the rental (quick turnaround is required to secure affordable rentals in Lancaster)
• basic household furniture and living needs (many individuals have lost most belongings while they were homeless)

Off The Streets receives referrals of families and individuals from local agencies such as Tenfold, Milagro House, Good Samaritan Services, Domestic Violence Services and local school districts.  These families are ready to move into permanent housing, have the monthly income for rent and have found an apartment that fits their budget.   Off The Streets will then pay the security deposit and arrange for furniture and household goods to get them started in their new home.

Over 80% of people helped are women and children. In 2024 your support helped place 679 people into permanent housing - 134 men, 249 women and 259 children!!  Since our founding in 2013, OTS has helped over 5800 men, women and children off the streets and into permanent housing.

Off The Streets is a 100% volunteer organization receiving ALL of our funding through the generosity of private individuals, organizations and companies.
